- Sirkulærøkonomi er en av de aller viktigste megatrendene som vil påvirke våre medlemsbedrifter i årene fremover. Derfor er jeg veldig glad for at NHO Service og Handel nå er en del av Nordic Circular Hotspot. Det vil bidra til at våre medlemmer kan holde seg oppdatert på utviklingen i sirkulærøkonomi og få inspirasjon til nye sirkulære forretningsmodeller, sier Alexander Haneng, direktør for innovasjon og bærekraft i NHO Service og Handel.

Megatrend 

- Circular economy has, in 2024, reached the status of a megatrend with EU at the forefront of accelerating the change. Competence in circularity is becoming a necessary component of leadership positions in companies of all sizes, as well as in operational positions across sectors, says Cathrine Barth, Managing Partner of the Nordic Circular Hotspot.

- Nordic Circular Hotspot is a cross-sectoral market transition programme working with public and private organisations. This year, we will also focus on supporting startups and SMEs with circular knowledge and skills.

- This collaboration allows us to work together to ensure that the Norwegian business landscape is at the forefront of circular skills development and job creation as it navigates the quickly changing policy landscape. The role of trade, retail and service industries will be at the centre of circular economy transformation, as we evolve new circular business models, says Cathrine Barth.
